Alhaji Nurah Issah Danwaana

Hon. Alhaji Nurah Issah Danwaana is a distinguished Ghanaian leader serving as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Wa Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region.

Appointed to this role in early 2025 , he has quickly established himself as a proactive leader focused on Sanitation, infrastructure, education, and urban development.

As a seasoned politician, businessman, and community development strategist, Alhaji Nurah brings over a decade of experience in public service, grassroots mobilization, and strategic planning to his position.

Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD)

In this key administrative role, he serves as the chief technical advisor to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and oversees the day-to-day operations of the assembly. He ensures effective implementation of national policies, coordinates departmental activities, manages resources, and supports planning, budgeting, and service delivery to enhance local governance and community development.
